Catherine Souders, Red Lobster’s Director of Asia Operations says they are thrilled to open in Manila. “We have seen significant growth in the local economy and restaurant industry, especially with adventurous diners here who are looking to try something out of the ordinary. We are looking forward to satisfying the appetites of families and friends who are out to enjoy the Ultimate Seafood Dining Experience only Red Lobster can deliver”

Souders, adds that “Red Lobster has admired The Bistro Group for many years as we have observed their undeniable success growing American, International and local concepts across many categories of the restaurant industry. They are truly a world-class organization, and we are thrilled to be part of The Bistro Group portfolio. I believe that their success is built on our shared values and shared commitment to bring great food and excellent service to everyone we serve.”

Jean Paul Manuud, The Bistro Group President and COO, welcomes Red Lobster as a valuable addition to their family. “We have 16 concepts to date, ranging from home-grown to franchises of the big, international names in the industry such as TGIFridays, Italianni’s, Denny’s and Texas Roadhouse Grill. With Red Lobster, we are again set to offer something new to the Filipino diner, this time, with amazing, American-style seafood. We will be able to bring another level to this specialty segment, with Red Lobster’s offerings which were previously not available or hard to find in the country, such as Maine Lobster and Snow Crab.”

Manuud shares that their longevity in the restaurant business, which started when they brought in TGIFridays in 1994, has helped them find concepts that the market can really appreciate. “We maintain our standards of food quality and service at a global level. This is how we ensure that every dining experience our customers have is always a happy and memorable one.”
