EXO will headline the MBC Music Show Champion in Manila on Oct. 28 at the Mall of Asia Arena.  The members confirmed to arrive include D.O., Suho, Sehun, Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Chen, Xiumin and Kai.  EXO has won the most number of Champion songs at 16.

 

The group recently announced their comeback with their fifth album “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo.”  This is the group’s fifth full-length album after a 10-month hiatus.  The group’s ninth member Lay is not part of the promotional photos, but he will be part of the video and will be active in the Chinese promotion of their album.

 

The members have been busy with individual projects. Sehun is part of Netflix Original, “Busted,” Suho just finished “Rich Man” and Do Kyungsoo has an ongoing drama, “100 Days My Prince,” which can be streamed on VIU.

 

Comedienne Kim Shin- young will be the emcee for the program.  She is the host of MBC Show Champion since 2015. She also hosts “Weekly Idol.”

MXM

 

“Produce 101” Season 2 trainees Youngmin and Donghyun have been busy since the show ended.  The duo completes MXM.  Brand New Music’s talents debuted their first EP “Unmix” with the lead single “I’m the One” in September last year.  They released their first full album, “More than ever” August this year.   It is going to be their first time performing in the country.

 

Weki Meki

 

The girl group includes I.O.I members Yoojung and Doyeon.  They are joined by Suyeon, Elly, Sei, Lua, Rina and Lucy. They eight-member girl group were previously called the i-Teen Girls.  They are under Wanna One’s Ong Seung-woo’s agency Fantagio.

 

The rookie group debuted August last year with their first EP “Weme.”  They released their first album, “Kiss, Kicks” last Thursday, Oct. 11.

 

Hyeongseop X Euiwoong

 

There is life outside “Produce 101.”  Hyeongseop X Euiwoong is living proof of that.  The duo is also known as the Yuehua Project and they debuted Nov. 2 last year with the album “The Moment of Memory.”  Euiwoong gained popularity as a guest on the show “Hello Counselor” where he shared how his parents asked him to help out in their stores.  A lot of agencies noted his aegyo (cuteness) and he was offered to be their trainee.

 

The Boyz

 

Cre.Ker Entertainment’s rookie boy group consists of 12 members, namely Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Hak-nyeon, Hwall, Sunwoo and Eric.  The members have appeared on different shows and in music videos before they debuted on Dec. 6 with an EP “The First” last year.  They recently launched their first album “The Sphere” last month.

 

Xeno-T

 

The group under Hunus Entertainment is composed of five members namely Hojoon, Sangdo, B-Joo, Xero and Sangwoon.  They were originally part of another group called Topp Dogg with 13 members under Stardom Entertainment.  As Topp Dogg, they released four EPs and eight singles since 2016.

 

They announced on to their fans early this year that they will start anew with fewer members. They released their first Japanese single on May this year.
