Tamaraws celebrate their win.

A never-say-die attitude seems ingrained in the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws basketball team.

Their backs against the wall, the Tams played a fourth must-win game, a cliffhanger until the final buzzer, defeating the De La Salle University Green Archers to land in the UAAP Final Four.

Highlighting the thriller of a game with three seconds to go was Arvin Tolentino’s three-pointer. But in all humility he didn’t want to take credit, saying instead that any of his teammates could have taken the crucial shot.

Yet his booming triple brought back memories of other game-winning shots of Tamaraw legends and now PBA stars Arwind Santos and Mac Belo.

To be Ultimate captured some of the game’s best moments.
