While waiting to claim his jackpot prize, one man in Portland, Oregon, USA, never would have thought he would win again the second time around.
Sam Hawley was waiting to claim his prize of $1,750 (around P92,000) at the Oregon Lottery’s payment center, where he arrived an hour before it opened.
From there, he went to a nearby store and purchased another lottery ticket. That ticket got all eight winning numbers, making him richer by $118,000 (around P6.2 million).
“I have used the same numbers for years,” he said about how he always bet on the lottery.
Hawley is not the only person who won the lottery the second time. Previously, one woman from Florida brought home $500,000 last month after winning two years ago. Another man in New Jersey won three times in one day a total of $5 million. /ra
