TOKYO — Clusters of icicles are illuminated in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture, on Saturday. The Misotsuchi no Tsurara icicles form when springwater that seeps from rocks freezes. According to a local tourist organization, the naturally-formed icicles span an area about 10 meters tall and 30 meters wide, while the man-made icicles cover a rock wall about 25 meters tall and 55 meters wide. The illumination lasts through Feb. 11.
