There’s no arguing that any day hasn’t officially started without having a sip of good coffee. And nowadays, despite the fact that there are plenty of coffee shops readily available in the market, finding an appealing coffee shop with delectable menu can sometimes be arduous.

Thus, the idea of putting up a destination where good coffee is well-paired with great food came to be.

Officially launched on July 2, 2019, Rojo Coffee owned by Jovy Acuzar and Khaled Ostwani is a café that carries good yet wallet-friendly local arabica coffee and classic comfort food dishes.

The current menu boasts of Filipino and Spanish flavors ranging from pasta, sandwiches, rice bowls and pastries.

Rojo Coffee puts a flavorful twist to the classic Filipino snack ALAMAT COCO JAM, a sure-hit among their customers.

With the belief that local ingredients, bring out the best of local flavors, the brand takes pride in the fact that they support Filipino farmers and suppliers. This way, they can also ensure that all their ingredients are fresh and responsibly sourced.

All of their goods are prepared the “Rojo way,” meaning all the meats, spreads, sauces, and bread are made in-house as they want to have control over quality and freshness on every item on their menu.

Among the things Jovy and Khaled are confident about is that they do not use any flavor enhancers such as MSG.

“The extra magic touch that makes your meal and stays with us seamless and memorable, it is what makes us uniquely Rojo,” says Jovy on how they prepare each of their dishes.

What’s even better is the fact that the brand gives back to the less fortunate through their small initiatives.  “We try our best to reduce food wastage in our kitchen and support charities that aim to solve hunger issues.”
