TOKYO — Japanese macaques keep warm at Hakodate Tropical Botanical Garden in Hokkaido last Sunday. The garden’s 74 macaques are allowed to bathe in an outdoor pool fed with water from the Yunokawa hot spring. Visitors at the garden can see macaques enjoying some downtime in the 40 C spring water until May 6.
