Even before her talk show has started airing, Kris Aquino has already been making her presence felt, so says talent manager Lolit Solis.
In her Instagram post yesterday, August 3, Lolit articulated her observation, noting how the Queen of Talk has everyone listening to her crispy “sound bites”.
“You really know that Kris Aquino is back dahil lagi na may ingay basta nandiyan siya, Salve. Tignan mo nga at halos lahat ng sabihin niya worthy ng frontpage story at lagi na meron siyang colorful sound bites na talagang hinihintay ng showbiz press,” Solis claimed.
(You really know that Kris Aquino is back because there is always noise as long as she is there, Salve. Look, almost everything she says is worthy of a frontpage story and she always has colorful sound bites which are always awaited by the press.)
Solis then enumerated Aquino’s statements which supposedly had people talking, such as “comment niya sa divorce, iyon wish niya maging one day President, iyon puwede sila magsama sa project ni Willie Revillame, and other issues na talagang very exciting basahin.”
([Like her] comment on divorce, her wish to become one day president, her wish to work with Willie Revillame in a project and other issues that are really exciting to read.)
Solis shared her hope that Aquino’s forthcoming talk show on TV5 titled “Love Life with Kris Aquino” would be successful.
“Sana nga ay maging hit ang bago niyang talkshow dahil wala naman talaga tatalo kay Kris pagdating sa ganitong genre ng show.
“At ang maganda pag kaya ng mga guests niya na makipagsabayan sa kanya dahil kung hindi talagang mawawala ka dahil sa husay ni Kris magdala ng conversation,” she said.
(I hope her new talk shows become a hit because nobody can beat her in this kind of genre. What would be nice is when she has a guest who can keep up with her because if not, you will get lost because of Kris’s great skills in holding a conversation.)
The talent manager felt that the TV host has been re-energized, what with her years of absence from hosting.
“The long wait is over,” said Solis. “Hayan na si (Here comes) Queen Kris. She is back.” NVG
