Halili related how it can be stressful doing nothing all day and how it takes a toll on one’s physical well-being.
“Pero aminin natin, nakakapagod na din yung walang ginagawa! Yung minsan feeling mo wala kang nakaaccomplish sa araw mo. Nakakadown, [nakakapanghina] lalo,” she lamented.
(Just admit that sometimes it can be tiring not doing anything! That feeling that you haven’t accomplished anything in your day, it can make you feel down and even weaker.)
Having said that, Halili makes a choice to keep busy.
“That’s why we can choose to be productive! Push natin para sa atin at para din kay baby (Push for ourselves and for the baby)!” she said.
Halili has a number of activities so that she will not run out of things to do. These include getting made-up even if she does not have anywhere to go, taking care of her skin, eating healthy and online shopping for the baby.
“For me, nakaka happy rin kasi makakita ng gamit ni baby sa bahay!” she shared. (For me, it makes me happy seeing baby products in the house.)
As part of her routine, Halili exercises under the guidance of an expert, with workouts like pre-natal Pilates.
She said she gets a “sense of accomplishment” out of it and that she also has become more cheerful after doing Pilates.
“Ang sarap maging productive kahit small steps lang muna tayo!!!” she said. (It feels good to be productive even if we are taking small steps only!)
Halili is expecting her first child with husband Jeron Manzanero. NVG
