Actress Isabel Oli Prats revealed that she was engulfed with anxiety while giving birth to her newest baby named Forest amid the pandemic.
The actress recalled how challenged she was as soon as she was brought to the delivery room. Sharing a photo of her and Forest on her Instagram page on Aug. 17, she recalled the experience.
“Hello my Forest. Giving birth to you during these times was really challenging. It was way different from your two older siblings. Mama was really anxious about what’s going to happen ‘cause for the first time, I will be ‘alone’ without your Papa @johnprats by my side,” she recalled. “Mama was scared and worried ‘cause it was a first for her.”
But Isabel was able to overcome her fears, and “despite her anxious thoughts and apprehensions that day, God comforted her through certain angels that He sent her way,” she noted. She then acknowledged her doctors and nurses, along with family members, for their support.
“Through these lovely people, you were brought into this world safe and sound. A big chunk of load was lifted off my chest that moment because of them,” she said in recognition of their efforts.
But the “exciting adventure did not end there” for mom and baby. It was just the start of more challenging moments to come as they went through a 14-day quarantine before the two were finally united with husband John Prats and their two other children.
“It was just the two of us during those 14 days,” the actress said, adding that “there were struggles and adjustments, but [Forest] made those days easy for Mama despite the sleepless nights.”

“We had quite an experience during your first few weeks here below, huh? But our experience is something that I won’t grow tired of retelling over and over,” Isabel recalled, as she also thanked “God for seeing us through during those days.”
She then encouraged moms among her fans and followers to share their “labor stories” just as she did. JB
