Talent manager Lolit Solis has one unsolicited advice to comedienne Pokwang: stop talking about her leaving ABS-CBN.

Pokwang should just be thankful that she was taken in by TV5 where she is hosting not one but two shows, said Solis in her Instagram page today, Aug. 23. Pokwang’s shows are “Chika, BESH! Basta Everyday Super Happy” with Pauleen Luna and Ria Atayde, and “Fill In The Bank” with Jose Manalo.

“Suwerte nga ni Pokwang dahil sinalo agad siya ng APT after ABS-CBN. Suwerte dahil 2 agad ang programa niya sa TV5,” Solis said.

(Pokwang is lucky because she was absorbed by APT after ABS-CBN. She is lucky because she has two programs at TV5.)

That said, Solis felt Pokwang should stop repeatedly narrating her story about leaving the Kapamilya network.

“Ok na ang nangyari sa career niya, kaya siguro dapat lang na tigilan niya ang paulit ulit tungkol sa pagkaka alis niya sa ABS,” she said.

(What happened to her career is already OK, so maybe she should stop repeating her story about her leaving ABS-CBN.)

In essence, Solis was telling Pokwang to spare the public of the drama since she has been able to jump to another network with ease.

“Heto na, may bago ng trabaho, harapin at pagbutihin na lang. Wala na iyong drama na mabuti na lang at may nag alok, dahil para bang adding insult to injury sa iba pang hindi nakakabangon,” Solis preached.

(Here you go, there is a new job, just face it and be good at it. Enough of the drama that it thankfully a network offered a job, it’s like adding insult to injury to those who are yet to recover.)

All that Pokwang should do is be thankful that she was able to switch to a new network when jobs in the industry nowadays are very scarce, Solis insisted.

“Nakakasawa na kasi na mabasa na mabuti na lang ganito at ganyan, basta heto mas maganda ang naging resulta ng sa iyo, big thanks,” she said. “Ayun nah, wala ng palabok pa. Welcome kay Pokwang. Goodluck.”

(It’s getting quite tiring to hear about how it’s better that this and that happened. What’s important is you got a nice result, big thanks. That’s it, no more fluff. Welcome, Pokwang. Good luck.) JB
