Former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach is all praises for her Pianatics fan club which, without fail, celebrates her birthday every year by making a charitable act.
Despite the pandemic, this year is no different as the Pianatics is all poised to celebrate Wurtzbach’s special day by doing a charity event at the Home for the Aged, Sick & Dying Elderly in Tayuman, Tondo, Manila.
With gratitude, Wurtzbach recalled how the yearly birthday event came about on her Instagram post yesterday, Sept. 20, where photos of the yearly events were shown. Wurtzbach was born Sept. 24.
“Tuwing birthday ko nagsasama sama ang mga Pianatics para pumunta sa home for the aged. (When it’s my birthday the Pianatics get together to go to home for the aged.) They have been continually doing this since 2016 and [I’m] so proud of this act of kindness they do every year,” Wurtzbach said.
Wurtzbach expressed joy that the group still keeps at it with this activity although her reign as Miss Universe already ended five years ago. She also stressed that the group was the one who originally thought of the activity.
“They really have big hearts,” Wutzbach acknowledged. “Tuwing birthday ko kasi usually umaalis ako para magpahinga at makasama family ko. Tapos pag uwi ko doon ako babawi sa kanila at mag paparty kami, yung big Pianatics party na ginagawa namin,” she said.
(Every year during my birthday, I usually have a getaway to rest and be with my family. After that, I will make it up to the group and we get to have a party, the big Pianatics party which we usually do.)
She is even happier that despite the pandemic situation, the group is still able to hold the charity event.

Wurtzbach will not be able to join the event personally, but she will give her support through the food and donations. They’re open for donations and all collections will go to the home for the aged. Interested parties may message @pianatics. JB
