Joross Gamboa thinks there are two things that parents should practice to be able to enjoy parenthood.

The actor, married to Kathy Kimberly Saga and blessed with two kids (Jace Kyler and John Kody), shared his personal insights on parenting in his Instagram post on Sept. 21, along with photos showing him and his family in a beach.

“Sa lahat ng mga magulang tandaan natin napakabilis lang ng panahon. Spend as much time with your [family]. Dahil lumilipad ang [oras],” he said.

(To all parents, we should remember that time goes by so fast. Spend as much time with your family because time flies.)

Gamboa and his wife thus see to it that they always spend quality time with their kids. Aside from quality time, Gamboa also points out to the value of teaching kids to have a personal relationship with God.

“At pinaka importante at pinakamagandang maipapamana natin sa mga anak natin ay Ang Makilala at magkaroon sila ng Personal Relationship ni God,” he said.

(And the most important and beautiful thing that we can impart to our children is for them to know about and have a personal relationship with God.)

Once parents achieve these, Gamboa believes that they have accomplished their purpose in life.

Gamboa also noted how fast his kids have grown as he observed the difference in their looks in the two photos: “Grabe biruin niyo last week lang yung [second] picture hahaha.” (Gosh, to think that the second picture was only taken last week [laughs].) JB
