As a mom, Rica Peralejo appreciates gifts for her children. A recent one is a table and chair set for son Philip which adds a little bit of fun to his studying.
Peralejo showed how ecstatic she was when she posted six photos on Instagram yesterday, December 8, which showed her son Philip enjoying his homeschool activities.

“Been wanting to share one of the bestest gifts we received lately! @stackedkids gave Philip an ergonomic table and chair set that is great for homeschooling,” Peralejo stated.
For her, the timing is perfect as “all of his tables were already running too small for him.”
She noted that it was a struggle to find a new table and chair because “he also isn’t quite there at the adult size just about yet!”
“Grabe talaga (How intense) the development of a child, it needs constant editing and adjustment from us parents and also their environment ano, (right)? And so I cannot be grateful enough to Stacked Furniture for giving him something that can grow with him well into teen-hood. Inspected it, and it’s so well made, it’s sturdy, comfy, and… it’s his own,” she gushed.
Her son Philip was just as ecstatic as “the moment he saw it his eyes lit up and couldn’t believe it was a desk all for him.”
Philip, it seems, is so inspired with his studies with his new table and chair.
“And the first time we used it, he finished his homeschooling with everything put back in the right place and his room was in order and pretty neat,” Peralejo said.
For the doting mom, the table provides structure in her son’s room, a place for doing his stuff, and a place for everything, all his materials.
“Actually, I fixed his entire room all over again as a temporary homeschool area since the designated place for that is still under renovation. And I am just so glad I did this because I can see him thrive in having his very own workspace,” she said.
Peralejo is completely convinced about how a child having his or her own desk is crucial to a love for learning.
“And I am thinking this would be a great gift for your kids who are mostly doing online schooling in this season [because] I believe it helps heaps.”
She quipped, “Para lang yang (It’s just like) new bags and shoes and pens and paper and notebooks nung bata tayo (when we were kids) every new [school year] HAHA!” NVG
