Christmas is here! It’s supposed to be that time of the year when you’d bring the whole family to the theater and watch a Christmas movie that gives you a warm and fuzzy feeling afterward. Times are different these days. But, who says you have to miss out on family movie nights?
Recreate the feel of a real theater at your home by lining up your favorite Christmas films on your streaming device. Spread out some cozy pillows and blankets in the living room or master bedroom. And, of course, a movie experience would not be complete without theater snacks! Those munchies are actually a big part of the fun. If you don’t believe us, ask your kids. Is it actually movie night without popcorn or hotdogs?
So you take care of the Christmas movie night playlist, we take care of the snacks. Here are some of our suggestions:
1. Homemade trail mix for kids. You know how kids love those mixed munchies that bring out the perfect combination of sweet and salty? How about you make your own trail mix for the family at home? All you need is a bowl of homemade popcorn, raisins, and your kids’ favorite mini chocolates and candies. Mix them all together in a colorful paper bag—the color just makes it more fun. And voila! You’ve got a theater snack.
2. Finger foods are your best friends. If that playlist is long, then candies and chocolates won’t be enough to keep your excited kids full until Christmas eve, or Christmas morning. Make the mini version of your kids’ favorite food. Get those mini buns from the supermarket. Or, you can just cut a regular loaf bread into four slices. Make your own mini burgers, mini salami sandwich, and mini cheese sandwich. Better yet, make your own mini cheesedog sandwich.
And if you want cheesedogs that are already superb, you wouldn’t want to add anything more, we suggest you get CDOIdol Cheesedog that’smas pina-juicy at mas pina-cheesy. Your kids will surely love the flavorful, cheesy treat that’s easy to prepare and easy to eat.
3. Hotdog on a stick. Who doesn’t love hotdog on a stick with marshmallows? The roasting part may also be a bonding experience for your family—right before dinner and movie time. And this one’s easy to make. Put each hotdog on a stick. You may wrap each hotdog with bacon for a tastier grub. Add the marshmallows on top of the hotdog, then roast!
To make the dish akid-magnet, get CDO Idol Cheesedog. The mas pina-juicy at mas pina-cheesy cheesedog adds more character to your snack as the delicious cheese combines with the crispy-on-the-outside marshmallows.
So, there you go. Make movie nights happen this Christmas! And make it more exciting for you kids with snacks that will keep them happy throughout the marathon.
