Celebrity mompreneur Neri Naig believes that the presence of fresh flowers in the house can brighten up one’s day.
Naig explained the benefits of having fresh flowers at home, and shared a few other tips on how to make the most of them, as per her Instagram post last Friday, Jan. 29.
“‘Wag kakalimutang maglagay ng fresh flowers sa bahay, samahan pa ng scented candle tapos swabeng tugtugan!” she advised.
(Don’t forget to have fresh flowers in the house. Have scented candles too and smooth music.)
“Iba nadudulot na happiness kapag may fresh flowers sa bahay,” she said. “No need naman bumili ng mahal, mas maganda nga kung sa garden mo manggagaling.”
(You get a different kind of happiness when there’s fresh flowers in the house. No need to buy expensive ones. It’s actually better if they come from your garden.)

A “plantita” herself, Naig shared that her orchids now have flowers but she feels reluctant to cut them.
“Ipunin ko na lang yung mga paso tapos lagay ko sa malaking lagayan katulad ng nakikita natin sa concierge ng hotels. Gustong gusto ko yung pinagsasama mga orchids,” she said.
(I will just collect the flower pots then I’ll place them in a huge container like the ones we see in the concierge of hotels.)
Naig wants to place her orchids in the family farm, especially because it is a favorite of her own mother.
Aside from being a successful entrepreneur, Naig also owns a farm where she sources her fresh fruits and vegetables from time to time. JB
