When Ryza Cenon’s baby Night was born, the actress started having difficulty in sleeping, spending most of her waking hours taking care of him.
Cenon reveals that her child has become restless, thus, she needs to always watch him, especially when he is napping. She shared this on her Instagram page, Feb. 10 where it showed her son on her breast while sleeping.
“‘Yung moment na minsan talaga mahirap makatulog. Lalo na ngayon malikot na si Night. Maka iglip ka lang sandali, pag mulat mo nahulog na siya sa unan niya, kung minsan nakasubsob pa. (Nakakaloka!!!Kaya kinakabahan akong pumikit)” she said.
(That moment when it is really tricky to sleep. More so now that Night has become restless. Just take a nap, when you wake up, he already fell from the pillow. Sometimes he even ends up face down. It’s so crazy. That’s why I feel nervous about closing my eyes.)
But Cenon is quick to explain the photo she shared in her post, where her baby rests on her chest: “Hindi ko sinasanay si Night na nakahiga sa dibdib ko. Sinanay ko siya makatulog sa kama/crib niya para di sya nakadepende sa amin. Malikot lang talaga sya kaya kailangan bantayan.”
(I did not train Night to sleep on my chest. I trained him to sleep in the bed/crib so he will not be dependent on us. He is just restless, that’s why we need to watch him.)
Cenon also recalled that her son was sleeping one time on her breast then slid on her tummy minutes later.
“‘Yung moment na ang ganda ng position nya kanina natutulog sa dibdib me. E super likot nya napunta na sya sa tyan ko. Anak gusto mo ba bumalik sa loob,” she said in her Instagram post on Feb. 12.
(That moment when he was in a good position a while ago, asleep on my chest. Because he’s become restless, he [slid down] to my tummy. Son, do you want to go back inside?)
Cenon gave birth to her and her partner, cinematographer Miguel Antonio Cruz’s firstborn, on Oct. 31 last year. JB
