Actress Angelica Panganiban was caught by surprise by a gift from her “Love Or Money” leading man Coco Martin.

While on a break during the shooting of their movie, Panganiban could not find the proper words to thank Martin who pointed her to a Gucci package on a table, as seen in a video posted at ABS-CBN Star Cinema’s YouTube channel on Feb. 24.

“Ano ‘to? Cupcake lang ‘yung binigay ko,” Panganiban said as she walked towards the table. (What’s this? I only gave cupcakes.)

Before opening the package, the actress said in jest, “Baka may kapalit to, ha? Hindi pwede ngayon. Nahuli ka ng mga ilang months.” (Does this need something in return? It’s no longer possible. You are late by a few months.)

Panganiban may have been referring to her already being in a relationship, as she revealed it last January. The actress then proceeded to opening the gift which turned out to be a Gucci tableware set.

“OMG! I love it! Oh my gosh! So pangmayaman (This so very much for the rich),” she gushed. “Wala akong masabi, kinakabahan ako sa kapalit (I am speechless and nervous for what’s in exchange.)

“Babayaran mo ’yan,” Martin joked. (You will pay for that.)

“Love Or Money” is a romantic comedy about an ambitious woman (Panganiban) who found a sugar daddy as she also meets a service crew worker in Dubai, played by Coco Martin. The movie, directed by Mae Cruz Alviar, is set to released on March 12 on KTX.ph, iWantTFC, TFC On Demand, Cignal PPV and Sky PPV. JB
