Actress Dimples Romana was extremely grateful for a bountiful harvest of fresh mangoes from her Batangas farm and shared with fans the good news.
Romana expressed her excitement over her family’s first harvest as can be seen in her Instagram post yesterday, March 16, where she showed baskets and tables filled to the brim with her mangoes.
“Beginning my Tuesday with a grateful heart Parte ito ng Ani namin from our Calaca farm!” she said. (This is part of our harvest from our Calaca farm.)
Actually, it was not Romana who harvested the mangoes but her friend from way back in college, because she’s “been so busy the past weeks with TVC shoots, transferring homes, setting up our businesses.”
“Buti na lang (It is good that) one of my best friends way back in UST who also happens to be from Calaca, @happygabby26 and her hubby… Papa @wilsonmaullon led the harvest and was there to make sure everything went well, love you guys!!!” she said.
Seeing the mangoes her friend harvested for her, Romana can’t help but be emotional. She also recalled how she and her husband worked “super hard.”

“And it’s in the little things like these that make us proud to be working as hard every day,” she added.
For Romana, it is important to “work hard” and to “work as a team with your family.” She stressed, “Kapag magtulong-tulong ang pamilya, mas mapapabilis ang pag-abot ng mga pangarap natin.”
(When the family helps each other out, we can reach our dreams more easily.)
Aside from a farm in Batangas, Romana also has a farm in Alfonso, Cavite which she was able to acquire out of her earnings from a series on ABS-CBN. JB
