TV host Lyn Ching used to regularly exercise, at least two years ago. She is trying to get back into her routine of exercising by doing Pilates now, and finds it challenging.

Ching spoke about how hard it is to exercise daily again, as per her Instagram page today, April 7, but she also admits it is something she has to do. She even took note of how her son observed that she used to work out “6 days a week.”

Currently, she considers herself lucky if she could even do “4 hours total sweat time.”

“I can blame the quarantine for the lack of drive,” she said. “I can blame all the food I cook and the emotional eating.”

But seeing her friends, particularly her Pilates mates, looking fit motivated Ching to go back into exercising. So all is not lost, she believes, as she is driven to regularly exercise again.

“I’ll be honest. It will take me awhile to get back into the groove of things. I’ve been sporadically trying for months. And it’s not funny how I fail each and every time. But today is another day to try,” she said.

Ching co-hosts GMA7’s morning show “Unang Hirit” and is married to Jappy Pascual, with whom she has two children, Gaby and Matty. JB
