There’s nothing like hard work, if you want to lose weight and stay fit.

The latest poster boy for fitness is the newly appointed Transportation and Communication Secretary Mar Roxas, who’s looking trim and fit these days. He’s lost more than 50 lbs over the months.

His formula: yoga and Pilates. Apparently he’s been so into yoga.

And this time, we learned that an ashtanga yoga instructor will even do sessions with him in his house.

Another hard worker is leading home designer and urban renewal advocate (Paco Market rehabilitation and redesign) Maja Olivares-Co, who has shed 10 lbs from almost-daily running and walking.

Truly inspiring.

Willie at Flores de Mayo

Guess who came to a big clan’s celebration of the traditional Flores de Mayo on the last day of May?

The non-traditional (to put it mildly), irreverent Willie Revillame who has a chronic capacity for controversy.

Revillame showed his amiable, if not gentle, side, as he thanked the family for such an unexpected invitation to its annual celebration, where the family members said Mass and offered flowers to the Virgin. Perhaps given his latest controversy, he didn’t expect an invitation to a religious celebration.

Call it a moment of redemption.
