There have been so many fantastic food purveyors since the start of COVID-19. The pandemic has brought out the brightest and most talented food establishments and has pushed the industry (me included) into creating dishes of value, quality and elevated taste. Same goes with beverage sellers and health food aficionados.

One can no longer be fooled about quality when it comes to what’s available. People who love to eat know who to watch or learn from when it comes to cooking videos. Many do not really bring value to ones health or taste buds. Foodies and food lovers are more aware of what’s out there in terms of goodness, quality and value for all kinds of budgets.

I love to watch the MasterClass Chef series I’ve enrolled myself in to better my craft. But my guilty pleasure locally when I have time to spare are to watch Judy Ann Santos & Richard Gomez (specially when Juliana is around). They know what they’re talking about. Their methods are correct and you see that they are knowledgeable on the subject of food. These YouTube shows are a joy and not at all excruciating to watch because they are creative and educational even on the aspect of health. No artery clogging use of too much butter, cream and MSG.

Here are two of my latest passions that I highly recommend for taste, quality and health. I’m warning you though, you’ll see them in your dreams as they may be consistent cravings.

Polaris Fine Foods: fresh flown from Japan. Never frozen and cut from a slab of freshly caught fish. All the kinds of seafood sashimi and sushi you can imagine.

Cultur’d KOMBUCHA: healthy fermented specialty drinks. They make the best flavors for me and their methods are precise. Gut health made delicious.
