Singer Kyla is going through a difficult time in her personal life right now, making her yearn for a respite, but the lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic has prevented her from taking a much-needed break.
“I need that feel-good vibe. I need to unwind. We planned to go to Palawan this month. But ECQ happened,” she stated in her Instagram page today, Aug. 22, showing a photo of herself on a beach.
“I’ve been feeling really, really down the past few days. I have this overwhelming feeling of sadness, of wanting to be left alone. And my husband would always wonder why [I] was acting that way. [And I] can’t explain it,” the singer said.
Kyla confided that while her husband has been so nice and patient with her, she still feels unexplainably bad. She described having strange dreams that trouble her, such as a dream involving her child.
“The last dream [I] had, [I] was walking Millie to school. I cried because [I] didn’t see her face. I wish [I] saw her face,” she said. “[I] guess [I’ll] forever wonder about how my babies would look like if they were born… I keep having those dreams. And losing them. It feels so traumatic.”
Millie is the name of her child whom she lost from her miscarriage recently. It was the third miscarriage for the singer. Fellow singers such as Zsa Zsa Padilla and Anna Fegi, among other celebrities, expressed support for her upon announcement of the loss.
The dreams, meanwhile, left her feeling frustrated and wanting all the more to “escape from reality… even if it’s just for little while.”
Kyla is married to basketball player Rich Alvarez and they have a son, Toby. JB
