To thank his wife, fellow TV host Joyce Pring, for the birth of their firstborn, Juancho Triviño thought of doing a push gift prank on her.
“One of the things that I just found out recently ay merong (is there is) such a thing as a ‘push present,’” the Kapuso actor said in a video he uploaded on his Instagram page last Saturday, Sept. 4. He was referring to the practice of giving a gift to a woman who will or has just given birth.
Triviño believes that “showing our gratitude and support for our [wives] during and especially after [giving birth] is very important,” which was why he really wanted to present her with the push gift.
“It’s a ring,” he revealed. “[It] has the date of the birth of Liam engraved in it, para may (for) remembrance.”

To shoot his prank video, he hid his camera in a box and set it up in front of where Pring was seated. Triviño had the ring placed in a box, which is hid in another box for chicken nuggets, and lastly, in a fast food paper bag. He handed it to her, making her think it is indeed food. Pring was moved after opening her gift and trying it on.
Triviño encouraged fathers to also show appreciation to their wives who gave birth to their kids.
“Sa mga parekoy na sumabaybay sa panliligaw hangang ngayon na may anak na kami, baka kayo din nag iisip ng regalo sa manganganak na asawa ninyo, remember importante and Love and Effort,” he said.
