R&B singer Kyla is not losing hope on having another baby despite suffering from three miscarriages already.

Kyla expressed her renewed hope as she recalled the unfortunate phases in her life when she lost one child after another, as per her Instagram page yesterday, Sept. 11. She also shared a photo of herself in one of her past trips, around the time of two of her miscarriages.

“I remember this trip in 2018. It was that time when we started the year with a miscarriage and ended with another one,” she said.

While she acknowledged that she has always been talking about the miscarriages, she stated that “grief is not a once and done process.”

“You don’t cry for a day, a week, a year and think the pain will go away. Sometimes it takes a long time to heal,” she explained.

Kyla recalled starting treatment for APAS in 2019 as she and her husband, former professional basketball player Rich Alvarez, were trying to have another baby last year.

“But unfortunately didn’t get pregnant until only this year. I know losing another one this year is not anyone’s fault. I still believe God will bless us with another one,” she said. “And so the beauty after every challenge in life is the journey of finding the questions as to how and why things happened. We never saw any of this happening. Everything including this pandemic.”

The singer repeatedly stressed her faithfulness that soon she will get pregnant again and deliver a baby, saying, “I know He will bless us with another one. In His time.”

Kyla and Alvarez has one son, Toby Elsiah. Last July, the singer announced that she lost another child in her third miscarriage, a baby girl she named Millie. JB
