Actress Dimples Romana recalled with glee the day she and her husband Boyet Ahmee were able to gift their helper a house, while also sharing her belief that giving brings out positivity.
Romana reminisced the day she surprised her family helper Vilma Omid with a brand new house, as per her Instagram page yesterday, Oct. 12, where she showed photos of the home along with Omid.
“Isang taon na pala ito (This has already been one year, it turns out),” she recalled. “The Lord gave us the opportunity to GIVE BACK to one of the most precious blessings our #TheFAhmeely has been given- si ATE V who has been with us for 18 years now.”
Romana also shared the simple house rules that they operate at home for everyone: “No lying, no stealing and no hiding of the truth. Gusto lang namin na tratuhin ang aming tahanan ng may malasakit at pagmamahal.” (We just want our home to be treated with care and love.)
She disclosed that when she and her Ahmee decided to buy a house for Omid last year, they had just enough money. She proudly said that it all comes from their clean hard work, and that they got nothing to hide, which is why they are happy to share about the things they are able to produce and build with their incomes. She also reminisced about the kindness and generosity she witnessed from her dad who passed away 20 years ago, and whose good traits resonate in their family to this day.
As to their family’s inclination to help out, she shared that many actually approach them for help and they do the best they can, although all these remain unknown. For her and her family, what’s important is “the Lord sees this all [and] he knows our hearts.”
“Ang kabutihan na inilalaan natin sa iba ay babalik din sa atin,” Romana said. (The good we do to others returns to us eventually.) JB
