I predict that the hottest home in town is here to stay. 1120 House that houses Rustan’s Flower Shop, Lady Scott Jones and the iconic Bon Appetit restaurant is bustling, beautiful and a sensory delight. Owned by the esteemed women of the Rustan’s family. These dynamic women, Menchu Lopez, Maricar Tiangco and Pam Lopez. These brands have withstood the test of time and generations. Elated to know that Bon Appetit has been revived! I chatted with my good friend Pam, who also happens to be the marketing and creative director of 1120 House over a late lunch and I immensely enjoyed their new pasta offerings made by Head Chef Booj Supe.
I really liked all three pasta dishes. Noodles were perfectly cooked and silky as only a true chef can master. Their potato salad is equally delightful and their sandwiches are bursting with meaty goodness giving their carb to protein ratio a one hundred percent rating.
Wall art are beautifully done by Tara Soriano. An homage Pam added for her mother in law Menchu who was born on the year of the pig. A special pork selection is on the menu too.
It is all day dining, wine-ing and evolved “Tita Food” we’ve all come to love.
