Have you ever encountered a word or a series of numbers that when read forward and backward can still be read the same way? It’s called palindromes.

This February, 10 palindrome dates can be formed depending on the format used to read the date. Some of these dates are 2/2/22, 2/20/22, and 2/22/22.

In 2021, there was a total of 22 palindrome dates including January 20, 2021, or 1/20/21 which was also the inauguration day of current US President Joe Biden. These kinds of dates do not really indicate anything, but they sure make particular points in time look interesting.

Palindromes do not only happen with numbers as they can likewise be found in words or phrases like don’t nod, kayak, no melon, no lemon, and many more.

Can you think of some? Go ahead. Just don’t let it make you feel “stressed” because it’s just “desserts” spelled backward.
