Celebrity momprenuer Neri Naig-Miranda recalled her Valentine’s Day gift to husband Chito Miranda last year, which made him very happy.
Naig showed a video of the moment when she told the Parokya ni Edgar frontman of her pregnancy, after she roused him from his sleep, as seen in her Instagram page today, Feb. 14. She gave him a box which contains a Valentine’s poem stating that she’s pregnant, plus a pregnancy test result. Miranda was surprised and excited upon learning the news.
“Sa mga nagta-try magkaroon ng baby, wag kayong sumuko. After [two] years of trying and failing, dun kami binigyan ni Lord ulit. Kung kailan hindi na namin inisip,” she said in her post.
(To those trying to have a baby, don’t give up. After two years of trying and failing, that’s when the Lord gave us a baby again. Just when we were not thinking of it anymore.)

Naig gave birth to their second baby, Manuel Alfonso, nicknamed Cash, in October last year.
She also shared a story of how one of Miranda’s cousins had the same dilemma of not conceiving and trying for 10 years. Just as that couple gave up on the tenth year, they got pregnant on the eleventh year.
Naig’s advice for parents who are still without children is to just “try and try.”
“Enjoy lang while trying, hahaha! Malay mo, di ba? Basta magmahalan kayong mag-asawa,” she said. (Just enjoy while trying. Who knows, right? Just love each other.) JB
