For up and coming sexy star Rob Guinto, working with her idol Bea Alonzo in the future would be a dream come true.
“Gusto ko ring makatrabaho si (I want to work with) Ms. Bea Alonzo,” Guinto declared during the online press conference for her film “X-Deal 2” last Wednesday, March 9.
Guinto started out as a sexy social media influencer who later starred in other Vivamax Originals such as “Siklo” and “Boy Bastos.”
Guinto relished the fact that she has worked with veterans like Alma Moreno, saying, “Sobrang laking chance at malaking pagkakataon ‘yung mga ganoong klaseng veteran na artista. Sa dream role, gusto kong ma-explore ang talent ko, kung ano pa ‘yung kaya kong gawin.”
(It is a huge chance and opportunity to work with such a veteran actress. As for my dream role, I wish to explore my talent, other things I am also capable of doing.)
“Pangarap ko sa mga drama na ako ‘yung inaapi or ako ang nang-aapi,” she added. (I dream of doing dramatic roles where I play the oppressed or I am the oppressor.)
Long before she started her career in showbiz as a sexy star, Guinto has also been appearing on magazine covers. Now that she is in show business, Guinto is already prepared to face haters which come with the territory. She believes that once an aspiring actress enters show business, her life becomes a dartboard for intrigues.
“Ang pinaghandaan ko po talaga dito sa pagpasok ng showbiz ay ang mga haters. Sa mga haters, kung ano ang sasabihin nila na hindi maganda, iyon ang pinaghandaan ko,” she said.
(What I really prepared for as I entered showbiz are the haters. To the haters, whatever bad thing they have to say, I am ready for that.)
“Ex-Deal 2” is about a young couple, Peter (Josef Elizalde) and Violet (Rob Guinto) who visit a resort island for a pictorial with a client. While on the island, they chanced upon Olivia (Angela Morena), Peter’s ex. Upon meeting her again, Peter believes that they can finally have “closure.”
A crazy deal forms when Violet suggests that Peter spends time with Olivia and even have that closure sex. In exchange, Violet also offers herself to Olivia, knowing that Olivia likes her. The movie premiers on March 25. JB
