Dermal fillers may have become more accepted over the years, thanks to celebrities and social media, but getting these treatments done within our social circles may be a completely different story. Brand manager Danna Tan shares: “Especially in a conservative country like ours, people are still more likely to get these procedures on the down-low. Technology behind Easy Adapt HA Filler

Beauty Perspective gave guests front row seats to Merz Aesthetics®’ new and easy way to gain confidence by looking effortlessly beautiful. The afternoon was celebrated over great food and drinks as speakers and board-certified dermatologists Dr. Jonathan Yu, MD and Dr. Beverly Ong-Amoranto, MD introduced guests to the wonders and technology behind the Easy Adapt HA Filler.

First, to debunk misconceptions about fillers, Dr. Ong-Amoranto shared: “HA is also used to hydrate skin, and to help you look fresher and more radiant. It softens the fine lines and wrinkles, too! What happens is that when you apply hyaluronic acid, which is the main component of these Easy Adapt HA Fillers, it can expand certain layers of our skin and it produces new collagen and elastic fibers.”

She added: “Nowadays, it’s not just a two-dimensional use of filling in the lines and wrinkles as seen in the ’90s, but what can do is more like a lateral lift so you don’t get a pillow face or an overfilled look. Instead, you look fresher with a more natural-looking lift.”

Dr. Yu agreed that dermal fillers have indeed come a long way since the ’90s. He said: “Now that we [doctors] know we have these existing products like the Easy Adapt HA Filler, we now have the capacity to fill, to hydrate, and the capacity to lift – depending on what the patient needs. My goal is to guide them on what’s suitable for their skin concerns.”
