For actor Sky Quizon, the “Love Bites” episode where he figured in a love triangle with costars Genesis Redido and Nico Antonio is full of complexities, because love has many kinds.

“Hindi mo naman madidiktahan (ang puso). Kapag nagmahal tayo, nagmahal tayo,” he said during the virtual press conference for the series last Sept. 4. (You cannot dictate on the heart. When we love, we love.)

For Quizon, love cannot be forced, citing the experience of Redido who once figured in a love triangle. He also explained that there is such a thing as polyamorous relationships, where there can be three or more people in the relationship, all in agreement that they love each other.

“So, these kinds of relationships exist in our society, so we also have to acknowledge that part,” he said.

He also admitted that he was once in a love triangle and what it caused him was confusion.

“Parang kasi kapag nagpa-plateau na ang relationship, and you get to meet new people in your life, parang magkakaroon ng confusion,” he said. (What happens is when your relationship reaches a plateau, and you get to meet new people in your life, it’s like confusion arises.)
