The Romanian embassy recently had causes for celebration. The 104th anniversary of their country’s reunification had once again come about, but the reception hosted by the Embassy did not celebrate only that. The past year, 2022, marked the 50th year of diplomatic relations between Romania and the Philippines as well.
In a show of solidarity with the Filipino people, Romania Ambassador Raduta Dana Matache stated that “our countries here represented do whatever we can to preserve peace and promote prosperity and stability in the Philippines and its region.”
The night was enjoyed by all present, including members of the Diplomatic and Consular Corps.
