Former Star Magic member and Nickelodeon star Eduard Bañez had the rare opportunity of working with popular Hollywood singings stars Ed Sheeran and Sia that he plans to mount their concerts in the country once he returns from the US where he is based now.
“I would like to bring Sia or Ed Sheeran to a big concert but at the moment I’m still being handled by Paradigm Beverly Talent Agency,” Bañez said during our online interview with him.
Aside from Sia and Sheeran, Bañez had the chance to work with the team of world-renowned artists such as Justin Bieber for his music video, “I Don’t Care.”
Bañez was in the Star Magic Batch 15 alongside Megan Young, Jessy Mendiola and Bela Padilla.
He used to host MYX TV, MTV Asia, worked with Arnell Ignacio and hosted a Homepage morning show at net 25.
Back in 2015, his family moved to the US to seek the proverbial greener pasture.
“I decided to come with them. And siyempre, I am also looking for a brighter future here. ‘Yon kasi usually ang ini-expect when you go to the US, na dito aasenso ang buhay mo,” he said.
Bañez initially worked as a customer service agent of American Airlines, and as a roller coaster operator for Six Flags Magic Mountain, a popular theme park.
