With the 2023 Cannes Film Festival in full swing, show-stopping looks have become the talk of the town as the film world’s finest gathered to celebrate the magic of cinema. And not only does the renowned festival showcase a diverse selection of films, but also a wide array of exquisite jewelry worn by some of our favourite celebrities on the red carpet.

Irina Shayk
Russian model Irina Shayk sizzled on the red carpet in a daring ensemble consisting of a minimalist bra top and a leather maxi skirt – a look from Mowalola’s fall/winter 2023 ready-to-wear collection. But what stole the shoe was Messika’s iconic ‘ Akh-Ba-Ka’ necklace. The necklace features a 33-carat cushion diamond set in Single Mine Origin (SMO) white gold, the main stone of seven in the pendant all of which are all members of the same ‘family’, cut from a single 110-carat Botswanan diamond.
Natalie Portman
While the ‘Black Swan’ star’s A/W 2017 Dior dress proved absolutely stunning, what made her look even more dazzling was her choice of jewelry. The actress wore a Chopard necklace crafted in 18k fair mined-certified white gold, set with over 119 carats of blue heart-shaped sapphires and over 36 carats of white diamonds which she wore with matching white diamond earrings and a sapphire and white diamond ring.

The seasoned actress looked regal as ever wearing a striking Gucci necklace that featured a diamond chain and a colossal blue gemstone pendant to accentuate the plunging neckline of her dress. Complementing the extravagant piece, she adorned herself with more diamond jewelry pairing it with studs and hearty rings.

Thai actress Araya Hargate graced the red carpet for the ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ premiere in Jean Paul Gaultier’s Spring 2022 Haute Couture. However, what made an even bigger statement were her stacked Bulgari Serpenti necklaces. Each necklace boasted two exquisite pear brilliant-cut diamonds and pavé diamonds, showcasing the perfect blend of luxury and elegance.
She paired her extravagant look with the collection’s bracelets, rings, and earrings.
Gigi Hadid
Supermodel Gigi Hadid made an unforgettable appearance at Cannes this year as she adorned herself in dazzling Messika diamonds.
Donning a double ring, a pink and yellow diamond Toi et Moi ring, and Messika Maison’s Roaring Diamonds high jewelry necklace, Hadid’s look was reminiscent of intricately designed lace.
Jasmine Tookes
Supermodel and Victoria’s Secret vet Jasmine Tookes looked sensational as she attended the premiere of ‘Club Zero’. Wearing an off-shoulder dress, she showcased a mesmerizing 88-carat diamond necklace from Chopard that housed a gorgeous oval-shaped stone.

Filipina actress Kylie Verzosa attended the premiere of ‘Black Flies’ in a stunning blush-colored mermaid-style dress created by Filipino designer Mark Bumgarner.
A Cannes Film Festival newcomer, Versoza wore a custom-made pink diamond necklace by Filipino joailler Lvna by Drake Dustin. The necklace featured a pink 45-carat pear-cut precious tourmaline gemstone with a captivating accompaniment of over 43.5-carat diamonds throughout.
Virginie Ledoyen
French actress Virginie Ledoyen married luxury with simplicity as she made her Cannes Film Festival appearance this year.
Her understated light gray tank top tempered by a dazzling long sequined skirt left all the attention to her magnificent swan feather necklace from the house of Boucheron.
The one-of-a-kind piece was set with a 3.59-carat emerald and diamonds which she paired with an emerald diamond ring from the same maison.
Karina (Yoo Ji-min)
Another Chopard jewelry look graced the red carpet courtesy of K-pop star Karina who wore a one-of-a-kind Red Carpet Collection necklace that was definitely hard to miss.
A member of the K-Pop group ‘Aespa’, the artist attended the 2023 Cannes Film Festival as Chopard‘s global ambassador.
On Karina’s neck was the brand’s 123.4-carat pear-shaped rubellite and 65.24-carat diamond and platinum necklace (The very same one Rihanna wore to the 2014 Diamond Ball!).
Sophia Carson
The ‘Killers of the Flower Moon premiere’ was definitely an unforgettable moment for actress Sophia Carson as she wore a necklace named after the legendary Sophia Loren who not only wore but also created this piece with the Italian jewelry brand Damiani.
Aptly named the Damiani Sophia Loren necklace, the stunning statement piece was made of 18-karat white gold and 81.02 carats of diamonds, worth roughly $714,580 USD.
