Luxury sportswear brand Sporty & Rich is teaming up with French fashion label Lacoste for their latest collaboration, and needless to say, it has tennis enthusiasts swooning.
The 22-piece collection will feature refreshing pastel hues and traditional tennis silhouettes reminiscent of Lacoste’s pieces from the 1970s and 80s. Moreover, the collection will be a marriage of both brands’ minimalist sensibilities, further embedding Sporty & Rich’s place in the fashion industry as an emerging sartorial force.
Founded in 2015 by Emily Oberg, Sporty & Rich found commercial success over the pandemic as the ‘stealth wealth’ trend grew amongst influencers and celebrities.
“Sporty & Rich teams up with Lacoste on a collection which authentically and holistically incorporates the DNA of both brands— a love for tennis. As avid players and fans of the sport, we wanted to develop a line that was also true to Lacoste’s roots and archive— a large selection of impossibly chic tennis silhouettes that showcase the brand’s ability to be inventive while also remaining wearable and practical,” Oberg said in the announcement.
