Documenting her pregnancy with photos of her heavy with her first child, actress Kris Bernal reflected on her pending motherhood during her maternity photoshoot.
On her Instagram post on July 30, Bernal said being pregnant is not meeting one’s baby but someone you knew very well: you.
“No one mentioned it. In 9 whole months, not one person said you’re about to meet someone entirely new, and it’s not your baby. It’s going to be you,” she said in her post accompanied with a slew of photos showing off her big baby bump.
Bernal embraces the welcome changes that happens to a pregnant mother like her as “pregnancy and motherhood will change us in all sorts of ways, body, and mind.”
“And, I’m all for it!” she enthused.

In a previous post on July 29, Bernal, clad in gray pants with bra top, is shown walking in an outdoor corridor, part of the behind-the-scenes shots of her maternity shoot, which she aptly described as “few days with this belly.”
“Pregnancy has been a wonderful reminder for me that growing and changing is beautiful. Growing my baby girl inside me is the most amazing thing I’ve felt in my life,” she said.

As a first-time mom, Bernal admits to having fears, typical feeling of a would-be-mom.
“Honestly, at first I was afraid of gaining weight and not being fit, but as my #LittleSunshine grew inside of me, I’ve enjoyed the process so much and I’ve loved and appreciated my body more than ever (More than the fit bod I used to have), and it’s all because of her,” she recalled.
“This is a season of growth,” she declared. “This is normal. This is a part of the process. This is the result of a healthy baby girl growing inside of me. It’s all so worth it! Can’t wait to finally meet her!” she said. /ra
