The locally-owned, European-made makeup brand launches the Velvet Drop, a multi-use velvety mousse for the eyes, cheeks, and lips.

TEVIANT, the brainchild of renowned celebrity makeup artist Albert Kurniawan, has launched their latest product: the Velvet Drop.

At the heart of TEVIANT is its founder, Albert Kurniawan, a makeup virtuoso with a career spanning 18 years. Fifteen years ago, the Indonesia-born Kurniawan came to the Philippines. Since, his portfolio includes serving as the go-to makeup artist for prominent figures in the industry such as Heart Evangelista. His latest formula combines high-pigment intensity with long-lasting properties, ensuring that the Velvet Drop not only delivers vibrant colors but also stays pigmented throughout the day.

The mousse is designed for use on the eyes, cheeks, and lips. Lightweight, long-lasting, and intensely pigmented, the Velvet Drop comes in an array of 8 shades, ranging from soft pinks to rich browns. The collection features both matte and illuminating finishes to suit any makeup look. The blendable mousse can be worn on its own, or mixed together to create a unique shade to complement each person’s skin tone.

The launch of Velvet Drop took place at Raffles Makati on July 17, 2023. The hotel’s suites were transformed with TEVIANT-branded pillows, delectable cakes, and decorated mirrors, making every corner of the suite an opportunity for a photo. Attendees of the event included Heart Evangelista, Michelle Dy, and Barbie Imperial, among other celebrities and influencers.

A highlight of the launch was the live demonstration by Kurniawan himself. Kurniawan led the audience through a step-by-step guide on how to make the most of the new Velvet Drop products, showcasing its versatility. Kurniawan also taught the attendees how to blend and mix the mousses together to create a whole new shade.
