Celebrity mom Chesca Kramer recalled the days when she was still active in gardening and the infinite benefits she gained from it.
In a recent Instagram post, Kramer reminisced about her gardening days.
“Returning to my backyard to do my mini marketing reminded me of a time that I truly cherished,” she initially said in her post.
“During the pandemic, I had the opportunity to learn new things, rediscover old hobbies, and connect with nature. I found solace in gardening and spent a lot of time planting. Though I am no expert gardener, I find great joy doing it and watching every seed grow and being able to share my harvest,” she recalled.
Tending to her plants is not what gardening is all about for Kramer as she also used the time to not only commune with nature but also to have a private time with her Maker.
“When I would garden, I use that time to talk to God too, thanking him for his goodness and provision. I would also play worship songs while gardening, and personally I believe it helped my plants grow better. As I’d play my favorite praise songs a strong breeze would always provide me with a refreshing respite from the sweltering heat of the sun. In those instances, I felt God knew exactly what I needed and was with me many of those times,” she reminisced, saying they “were simple moments, but they were peaceful and meaningful ones.”

While she’s no longer “dedicated to my garden, I am so thankful to those who tend it for me.”
“Today, I had time to walk around and see that the ones I planted are still bearing fruits. Satisfied with what I saw, I happily carried my harvest home, and a bunch of good memories that reminded me to always be thankful because God never leaves us empty handed. TYL!” she said.
In gratitude, she cited Psalm 77:11-14: “I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds. Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God? You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples.” /ra
