Supermodel Gigi Hadid slammed by the Israeli Government for Pro-Palestine Post
The Israeli government has criticized half-Palestinian model Gigi Hadid for her support of the Palestinian cause following deadly attacks by the terrorist organization Hamas on southern Israel 10 days ago. Hadid addressed the ongoing situation in Gaza shortly after the conflict began.

In her Instagram post, Hadid remarked that the intimidation of innocent individuals does not align with the “Free Palestine” movement. Hadid, whose father, Mohamed Hadid, is a Palestinian immigrant and a devout Muslim, further expressed her profound empathy and sorrow for the “Palestinian struggle and life under occupation.”
The official Instagram account of the Israeli slammed the model after she expressed her disapproval of the Israeli leadership in a social media post and accused her of “turning a blind eye.”
On October 7, the Hamas organization infiltrated Israel, with hundreds of militants entering the country and causing the death of over 1,000 Israelis. Concurrently, Hamas launched thousands of rockets into Israel. As a result of this violence and its aftermath, the conflict led to the loss of at least 4,200 lives on both sides, including approximately 1,400 Israeli civilians, soldiers, and 30 Americans.
This conflict has reignited debates among public figures about the Zionist cause and the actions of the Israeli state in response to this unexpected violence. While some are more focused on condemning the terrorist violence against Israeli civilians, others are expressing concerns about Israel’s response to Hamas in the Gaza Strip that followed.
Hadid took to Instagram to post “There is nothing Jewish about the Israeli government’s treatment of Palestinians,” and “Condemning the Israeli government is not antisemitic and supporting Palestinians is not supporting Hamas.”

The official Instagram account of the State of Israel responded with the following message: “Have you been sleeping the past week?” and “Or are you just fine turning a blind eye to Jewish babies being butchered in their homes? Your silence has been very clear about where you stand. We see you.”
In addition, the State of Israel’s account shared a modified version of Gigi Hadid’s post with its own message: “There is nothing valiant about Hamas’ massacre of Israelis,” it wrote. “Condemning Hamas for what it is (ISIS) is not anti-Palestine and supporting Israelis in their fight against barbaric terrorists is the right thing to do.”
Following this, the State of Israel’s Instagram account posted an image depicting a floor covered in blood and children’s toys, accompanied by the message: “If you do not denounce this, your words hold no meaning.”
Going against what the government’s Instagram said, Hadid talked about the tough situation faced by Israeli civilians in a statement she made last Tuesday.
“I have deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation, it’s a responsibility I hold daily,” she wrote.
“I also feel a responsibility to my Jewish friends to make it clear, as I have before While I have hopes and dreams for Palestinians, none of them include the harm of a Jewish person,” she continued.
