My Halloween looks, featuring Shake, Rattle, and Ball: The Alamat Exhibition Gala and The Opulence Ball
While the Halloween festivities first began as a means of welcoming the harvest at the end of summer and warding off ghosts, the holiday has transformed into a night for drinks, candies, and costumes.
With Jack-o’-lanterns, skulls, and apparitions adorning streets and establishments throughout the metro, Halloween has become a time of celebration and self-expression. It’s the one night you get to be who you want to be; from your favorite film characters to horror staples.
And with this year finally seeing the return of some of the biggest All-Hallows Eve parties out there, I just knew I had to go all out this time around.
Featuring the Shake, Rattle, and Ball: The Alamat Exhibition Gala, and The Opulence Ball, here were my looks this Halloween season.

Mysteriously ethereal yet eerily horrifying, an all-black ensemble was the right way to go as I channeled my inner witch.

And as the National Museum of Anthropology shined bright in the evening dark, the gleaming light in contrast with my shadowy look was simply divine.

Three years in the making, the second-ever Opulence Ball was definitely one to look forward to. And with Greek gods and goddesses, and forest nymphs and mythical creatures left and right, I just had to show out. For a night of opulence and grandiose, I channeled my inner goddess in heels from Balenciaga, a clutch from Fendi, and a shrug from Bea Valdes, and wearing make-up courtesy of Mayesa delos Santos.
