Ivarluski Aseron’s Red Charity Gala collection explores his past work and his various experiences from his journey thus far

Three years since its last outing, the Red Charity Gala finally made its return, this time featuring the work of fashion designer Ivarluski Aseron.

Aseron, known for his minimal style, paid homage to Philippine culture with his contemporary take on the Filipiniana, especially featuring the traditional yet modified banig. For the Gala, his collection centered on the theme “A Memoir in Motion.” The collection serves as an accumulation of his past work and various experiences given shape through his reflections on his journey thus far.

The Red Charity Gala was originally launched in 2009 by Tessa Prieto and Kaye Tinga for the Philippine Red Cross.

Aside from Aseron, the Gala has also historically celebrated the creativity and ingenuity of Filipino talents, featuring others such as Rajo Laurel, Joey Samson, Chito Vijandre, and Lesley Mobo.

The Red Charity Gala 2023 was presented by Bench and Angkas, in cooperation with Arthaland, together with A2A Safaris and Jewelmer. With the participation of Botanist, Crate & Barrel, Diagold, Emirates Airlines, Genteel Home, JMA Jewelry, Omega, Peninsula Manila, Remy Martin, Rhodium Regenerative Institute, and Tiffany & Co. With additional support from Avignon Clinic, Crimson Boracay, Fuentes Manila, Huawei, Moss Manila, Robert Blancaflor Group,18th.ph, and media partners Philippine Daily Inquirer and Philippine Star. Special thanks were given to Adworks Manila, Gardenia, Henri Calayag Salon, Midas Hotel, Mint College, MX Studio, and Organique.
