Lacoste, the renowned French brand, proudly showcased its latest watch collection during the Fall Winter 2023 Collection Event at the Podium from October 19 to 21, followed by a Pop-up Roadshow at SM Mall of Asia from November 23 to December 13, 2023.
Themed “Swinging Through Time” in celebration of Lacoste’s 90th Anniversary, the event drew attention from celebrities, including Heaven Paralejo, Maika Rivera, and Luis Hontiveros.
Ms. Judith Staples, Lacoste Watch Head of Marketing, expressed her enthusiasm with opening remarks: “The Fall Winter 2023 Collection reflects Lacoste’s commitment to contemporary design and functionality. We’re excited to share this innovative collection with our valued customers.”
Following Ms. Staples, Lacoste Watch Brand Manager, Ms. Cathy Porlaje, provided insights during her product briefing: “Our goal was to create a collection that seamlessly integrates modern design with the essence of Lacoste. The Lacoste.12.12 Multifunction exemplifies this vision, offering a new interpretation of the classic timepiece.”
The event featured engaging activities, including the Wall Tennis Challenge, where teams competed to hit the ball onto the Tennis wall as many times as possible within a 30-second timeframe. The top 2 teams with the highest score were rewarded with Lacoste watches. The Golf Putt Challenge added an element of precision, requiring players to achieve a hole-in-one in just one try to win a special Lacoste loot bag.
Highlighting the Fall Winter 2023 Collection is the Lacoste.12.12 Multifunction, a modern reinterpretation of the classic timepiece. The watch boasts a light-reflecting aluminum-finish dial, a lightweight case crafted in nylon-infused resin, and an embossed silicone strap for a contemporary feel.
Complete with day, date, and 24-hour sub eyes on the curved face, the watch exudes a minimalist aesthetic. Metal hands with understated white color fill, stick indexes, and Lacoste’s signature crocodile in applied metal add feminine detail. The monochrome design is presented in trend-driven hues of deep burgundy and forest green, as well as timeless black and elegant white for a more minimalist appeal.
Embracing a monochrome design, the watch is finished with the brand’s signature petit piqué texture on the easy-wear silicone strap. Featuring a multifunction movement, TR90 case, curved aluminum finish dial, 38mm dimensions, and water resistance up to 5 ATM, the Lacoste.12.12 Multifunction watch combines style and functionality.
