During Imelda Marcos’ gratuitous 90th birthday party earlier this afternoon, 137 people and counting out of the estimated 2,500 guests from the Ynares Sports Complex, were rushed to the hospital due to vomiting and fainting.
The poisoned guests are currently being transported by the Red Cross to Rizal Medical Center. When asked, the victims pinned the blame on the adobo served during the event.
Speaking of questionable food, the shoe-collecting former First Lady also received cakes modeled after Marcos regime infrastructure, including the Cultural Center of the Philippines and the Philippine Heart Center.

These constructions infamously contributed to the Philippines’ debt of over $20 billion from foreign aid. In case you’re not aware, we’re still paying for that debt to this day. Oh, sorry. We were talking about pastries. They’re harmless.
As for the dubious adobo, investigations are still ongoing as to what was the true cause of the mass poisoning.
This didn’t stop the party—and Imelda for that matter. Makes you wonder why she’s at a birthday party and not serving a certain 77-year sentence, no?
