Back for its 18th edition, here is everything you need to know about Art in the Park 2024
The season of art is not yet over.
The anticipated free-for-all Art in the Park returns for its 18th edition on Mar. 17, Sunday, at the Jaime Velasquez Park in Makati City. Here’s everything you need to know about the outdoor exhibit.

Art for all
Pieces at Art in the Park are capped at P70,000 and could go for even less. From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., take the unique opportunity to score coveted works at accessible prices.
This year’s featured artists
Art in the Park 2024 features and highlights multimedia graphic artist Demi Padua, and abstractionists Pepe Delfin and Clarence Chun.

Padua blends figurative and abstract elements into the composition of his work. The effect is a series of collage-like images that conceal and reveal subjects beneath layers of photorealistic materials. He has exhibited his works in every edition of Art in the Park since 2006.
Delfin, on the other hand, explores abstract forms through geometric shapes, squiggles, and lines. Often inspired by her personal experiences, observations, and relationships with people and contemporary life, she constructs scenes portraying solitude and a multitude of emotions through vibrant hues and structured compositions.

Chun is another abstractionist joining the festivities. He primarily creates narratives centered on his connections and relationships to places he had lived in. With a childhood spent in Leyte and, later, residing as an adult in Hawaii, his body of work depicts biographical narratives drawn from his personal history as a first-generation immigrant.

Who will be exhibiting?
This year’s Art in the Park will feature over 60 exhibitors representing galleries, art collectives, independent art spaces, and student groups.
These include Archivo 1984, Art Toys PH, Art Underground, Boston Art Gallery, FA Gallery, FotomotoPH, Galeria Paloma, ILCP Art Space, Komiket, Metro Art Gallery, MONO8, Pintô Art Museum and Arboretum, Tiny Canvas, UP Artists Circle, Vinyl on Vinyl, and White Walls Gallery among many others.
Special promos and deals
BPI credit cardholders will enjoy special perks and privileges at this year’s fair. For a minimum purchase of P3,000, they may convert their purchases into monthly installments at zero percent interest for up to six months through BPI’s special installment plan. BPI also offers its cardholders a Buy Now Pay 3 Months Later option, with the first amortization posting three months after the purchase date, and a 100 percent bonus madness limit on installment purchases for qualified credit cardholders.
