Anyone down for a full-sensory art experience to amp up the new year? It’s not everyday that we could explore many art forms at once. But the folks of Cavite are inviting us to join that ride.
Paghilom Arts Camp & Festival: Siniggamutan is ready to divulge what their local talents of different art fields can offer at Alitaptap Artists Community, Amadeo, Cavite. Happening on Feb. 6 to 8, this event will feature homegrown acts that enrich the cultural heritage of Cavite—and it’s open to the public.

Once you step inside, you won’t be running out of things to do. There will be film screenings, mural art exhibits, open acts, concerts, and so much more waiting for you and your gang. An on-the-spot painting contest is also lined up, so better get your creative gears ready.
You’ll get to meet (maybe ask some tips from) artists of different disciplines such as Winston Hernandez, AJ Manuel, Ronnie Lazaro, Sigfreid Sanchez, Willan Rivera, Daloy Dance Company, and more.
Since 2017, Paghilom has been gathering artists, cultural workers, and other institutions from the academe. This local initiative, according to their Facebook page, alludes to “art production as a shamanistic act of healing the individual and society.”
