The movie might have been pushed back, but Sailor Moon fans will get another treat: Japanese cosmetics company Shiseido is launching a limited-edition line inspired by the sailor guardian’s upcoming movie.

Set for release under Shiseido’s MAQuillAGE brand, the collection only consists of two foundation products in fluid and powder compact forms. The Dramatic Skin Sensor Base UV keeps skin soft and supple, while the Dramatic Powdery UV is meant for lighter coverage.
The makeup line focuses on the concept of transformation seen in “Sailor Moon” and as an homage to the transforming guardian herself, the products to be released this year have also been revamped—at least in the packaging that is glossed over in purple and pink stars.
The collection was first released in April 2017 in celebration of the widely popular shoujo manga’s 25th anniversary. To no one’s surprise, it sold out pretty quickly.
Dropping on Sept. 21, the collab will be released as part of MAQuillAGE’s 15th anniversary and the supposed release of “Sailor Moon Eternal,” a two-part movie in continuation of the “Sailor Moon Crystal” series.
Still from “Sailor Moon”
