One of the highlights of the holiday for every Filipino is the annual Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) that starts on Christmas Day, Dec. 25. But as expected, since mass gatherings are still restricted, your regular holiday movie viewing habit is also going online—for the first time!

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced that the festival would be accessible anywhere in the world through Upstream via GMovies by Globe.

Just this week, MMFF announced the 10 official films joining this year’s virtual festival. Last July, the first four titles were revealed originally for the MMFF Summer edition, which did not push through because of the pandemic. Only one of those four movies will continue on this December: the adventure-fantasy flick “Magikland.”

Here’s what else you can expect at the first virtual MMFF this year:
