If you’re a fictionist with an unpublished novel under your belt, KWF is extending a P100,000 grant for Filipino-written novels aimed for the young adult audience (high school students). Sounds promising? Here’s what to submit:
- A two to three-page concept, abstract or summary of your novel
- A sample of two chapters
- Your comprehensive resumé with a 2×2 photo
Don’t forget to send these over to [email protected] before Oct. 10. If you’re picked as the chosen one, you must submit your completed novel by Oct. 31. The novel should be 100 to 150 pages in length, written in 12 pt. Arial or Times New Roman and single-spaced, and submitted in A4 paper with one-inch margins on all sides.

Is the author’s life calling you? Head on over to KWF’s Facebook page for more info. As for us, we’ll be reserving a spot for your book on our shelves.
