Rep’s children’s theater offering this year is an enjoyable adaptation of the story “The Magic Circle,” which follows a young boy named Jepoy, as he ends up in the world of mythological creatures as he searches for his father in the forest. The story explores themes of acceptance as well as a celebration of uniqueness (or, as they say in the play, being weird!).
